HARRIS BANK
Chicago, Illinois PROJECT DESCRIPTION This currency exchange was created as an experiment by a major banking institution located in the City of Chicago. It is located in a predominantly Hispanic neighborhood where the per capita spending is equal to the upscale shopping area of Chicago’s Michigan Avenue. The intention was to create a building as a sign – clearly visible to vehicular traffic as well as the pedestrian on both sides of the street. The all glass storefront can be left open in the summer months to allow the currency exchange to be part of the animated street life. |
